Dr. Abigail JosephDr. Abigail Joseph has an extensive 20-year career as an educator in the Bay Area. She has she developed technology and computer science programs that engage both students and faculty to examine the role of technology in and outside of the classroom. Abigail currently describes herself as an Educator-At-Large. She works part-time as Computer Science and Engineering Faculty at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, CA, and is a co-founder of edstoria with Suzette Duncan, developing programs for teachers to help them thrive, grow, and sustain themselves in and out of the classroom. Technology is her vehicle for exploring her investigations of design thinking, innovation, art, social justice, dance, photography, digital storytelling, and anything involving the arts and making meaningful change in the world. Suzette DuncanSuzette Duncan is currently a Faculty Member at the Reach Institute for School Leadership preparing intern teachers to complete their credentials and work effectively in schools in underserved and under-resourced communities. She is also co-founder of edstoria with Abigail Joseph, a project aimed at supporting teachers who have been in the classroom for more than five years to learn, thrive, and develop habits to sustain themselves personally and professionally.
